David – Volunteer with Gleaning Cornwall
I first heard of the Gleaners through my late wife. She was a committed environmentalist. Sadly she was not well enough to join herself. On her passing I took up the mantle, got rid of the car and try to live with as low an impact as possible.
I’m so sorry we live in such an uncertain and unkind world.
The Gleaners offer a positive outlook, by acts of kindness and a solution to food waste and food deprivation. I’m so happy to be able to support them in my small way.
In the few years that I have been gleaning I have met lots of committed selfless people and travelled to corners of Kernow that I would never of seen or knew existed !
